My work examines my subconscious by gutting the meaning from my everyday materials that I have personal associations with. I crack concrete rings, dripping with pink, strung by steel cable. A rope hangs with slack, unwound into tender twists, supported by its concrete ledge. It is a process of investigating a common material and partnering with it in a practice where we construct intimate forms with new perspective.
